Bad Idea) They finally reached Panama, and landed in the exact same place where Balboa first saw the Pacific Ocean. Now, however, I must interrupt this story to tell you why they were pedalling in a rowboat, because if I don't, Margarita will never forgive me. They were travelling in a row boat because it was the only one that was close enough to the surface of the sea for Ricardo to catch fish. Ricardo had very short hands. It was because of this voyage that Margarita first became peeved with her parents. So, they landed in Panama, and this is where Ricardo and Ruth first became 'into' Southern America. Since that first landing in America, they have visited South America almost every year. This concludes today's session
