We represent the Lollipop Guild
The Lollipop Guild, the Lollipop Guild
And in the name of the Lollipop Guild
We welcome you to Munchkin Land....
My aunt Ann said that you could never make a movie out of our family reunions. And it was completely true. The only rivalries were between teenage siblings, the only comedic mishaps were plane delays (and those hardly count as funny) and Grandpa's VISA card failing. Moreover, we weren't all sardined into a vacation of lethargic boredom, either. Our chosen locations were tropical paradises- the Bahamas, St. Croix, and Isla Mujeres. Thus, we'd never make the big screen. (Despite my small successes as an amateur director)
There was
  • Grandpa and Gramma
  • Uncle Mike, Aunt Ann,and cousins Carson Sanders (13) and Madisen(10)
  • Uncle Jim, Aunt Tina, and cousins Kojo(3)(aka Sebastian) and David (13 months)
  • Aunt Katy and her boyfriend Chandler
  • And us- Mom, Dad, Angie and me.
It was a jolly party. We went scuba diving, hammock hanging, snorkeling, Scrabble playing, book reading, ocean frolicking, midnight swimming, Spanish speaking, souvenir scouting, golf-cart driving. My first trip to Mexico was very good, thanks for asking.
