I won't grow up,
I don't want to wear a tie.
And a serious expression
In the middle of July.
And if it means I must prepare
To shoulder burdens with a worried air,
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me,
Not I,
Not me!
I went skiing today at Arapahoe Basin. A lot of things are names "Arapahoe" around here. LIST!!!!
1)Arapahoe Basin
2)Arapahoe Avenue
3)Arapahoe Mountain
4)ummm, Arapahoe Indian Tribe
Well, that's a stretch, but still, it's a lot.

A whale of a tale to tell you lads
A whale of a tale or two
'bout the flapping fish and the girls I've loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it's all true
I'll swear by my tattoo!
That's yet another pirate song from some Disney movie of which I do not know. So if anyone can tell me where it's from, I'd be much obliged. Savvy? That's what Cap't Jack says in POTC. (Pirates of the Caribbean) Well, I've talked about that movie for quite long enough, if you ask me. But that's all I have to talk about...

Drink up me hearties, yo ho
We're rascals, scoundrels villains, and knaves
Drink up me hearties yo ho
We're devils and black sheep - really bad eggs
Drink up me hearties yo ho

Pirates of the Caribbean is a very good movie. I like it even more now than I did after I saw it in the theaters. HOWEVER, they said that it was the first pirate movie in a very long time, which is true, as far as I know, but then, PETER PAN came out, and that's most certainly a Pirate movie, is it not? Most Certainly. The above song is in POTC, while the below song is from PP.
Oh a pirate's life
is a wonderful life
a-rovin' over the sea
give me a career
as a buccaneer
it's the life
of a pirate for me
Oh, the life
of a pirate for me
Quite the same, in a very different way. Speaking of things that are the same but different, don't you hate it when people say "Same Difference" because that's an oxymoron. I don't even understand what it means! "Same difference" Considering the following diologue (yes, I know that's spelled wrong!)
Milo- I, personally, prefer blue violet.
Theo- Really? I like violet blue, myself.
Wane- Same Difference

Oh, the Ignorance of Wane!, to quote Peter Pan, kinda not really. Peter Pan says "Oh the cleverness of me" not "Oh, the ignorance of Wane" But, "Same Difference!"

Well, Sorry about that folks. I had to take a break from my lovely blog. I'm very grateful to all those lovely people who commented while I was out, and I will write a real entry tomorrow, or so, I would write right now, but I have to watch PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN with audio commentary from the actors. That's what I got for Christmas, along with FINDING NEMO, a digital video camera, 3 pairs of pants, 2 sweaters, 2 books, a chocolate santa claus, 3 board games, a calendar, a picture frame, a purse (which I don't really know what to do with....) and negative amounts of room in my bedroom. AH WELL! that's life, I suppose. Hopefully, you will be able to read past comments now that I've taken that bloody poll off of my blog. OH! I highly recommend Return of the King and Peter Pan, but Stuck on Youisn't that great. See you in the morrow!
