Robin Hood and Little John
Walkin' through the forest
Laughing back and forth
At what the other one has to say
"Somethin'-somethin'", This-'n'-thattin'
Havin' such a good time
Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally
Golly, what a day

Isn't that funny. I haven't seen that movie for several years, but I remember that song. Good song, that. I want to see that movie again. Robin Hood, you know. In The ONce and Future King Robin Hood is actually Robin Wood. Wood as in the woods he lives in. And he lives in Forest Sauvage rather than Notingham Forest. Curious. That's all for today. As it says on my mood indicator over <----------- there, I'm not feeling very well. Happy last day of September.

Grayness rumbles above
Turning Twisting Flying
sunlight swallowed
blue sky is nonexistant
windows reflect the gray
and we wonder why there aren't any

Hey Mr.Tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and I wanna go home"

That's all of that song I know. It's a good song. Good points
1) It has bananna's in it
2) I can connect to it. (EX. "Daylight come and I wanna go home"- that's how I feel! I'm on the bus to school and halfway there, the sun rises and suddenly BAM! I wish I was in bed)
Isn't that exciting. Actually, school isn't that bad. It's just average. I like learning stuff, and I like seeing kids and teachers, it's just kinda annoying after a while. It's worse when no one will talk to you, really. I was pushed out of 3 conversations that I started. They were just too top secret for me, I guess. ALAS! I don't really want to know what they were about anyway. SO THERE!!!!!!!!! Sigh.
First swim practice today. It was fun- I like swimming. Practice was relatively easy, though.
Made several idiotic mistakes on my science test. I can't believe how stupid I was. It's one thing if you don't do great on a test because you don't know it- but it's a completely different thing if you know the stuff, you just make REALLY STUPID MISTAKES! ARRGGGG.
OH well. I hope that every one had a fun day. I 'did'.

I'd fill my yard with chicks and turkeys and geese
And ducks for the town to see and hear,
Squawking just as noisily as they can,
And each loud "pa-pa-geeee! pa-pa-gack! pa-pa-geeee! pa-pa-gaack!"
Would land like a trumpet on the ear,
As if to say, "Here lives a wealthy man."

Fiddler on the Roof. Good musical, that. I saw it at the Dinner Theater a while ago. That was my favorite musical I've seen there.
There's a cold going around Fairview. I already had it, but there are a lot of people getting sick. And then on Friday everyone I talked to had multiple tests- I had three IN A ROW!. Every one was very stressed out. It bothered me, because Fridays are usually nice and happy and everyone is cheerful, but LAST Friday, that was craziness. Of course, what can one expect? I wish the teachers would figure out a way to space out their tests a bit. That would be much more helpful. Then we wouldn't have sick kids all stressed out and getting themselves more sick. Alas, I cannot aid this matter, for my influence is too small. And if I mention it, most teachers think I'm just complaining. WHICH I'M NOT!

I love Saturdays. They are so entertaining. My neighbor wants to make a movie called "A Pirate, A sheriff, and a man in green tights". Interesting. She doesn't have the plot-line sorted out yet, which is a bummer. OH! Sorry, my dinner guests have arrived. More later....

Black socks they never get dirty, the longer you wear them, the blacker they get.

I always think of such good things to write about in my lovely blog, but then I forget, and it's horrible. Then, I end up rambling about random things and it's not too interesting. Did you know that the word "Rambling" or "to ramble" originated in Spain because in Barcelona there's a street called "La Rambla" which many many people "ramble" down every day. I'm not sure it that's true, but that's what those Spainards told me. CHOOSE YOUR OWN RESPONSE
1)Interesting, very interesting
2) Elementary, my dear Watson!
3)Something is rotten in the state of Denmark
4)"Black socks, they never get dirty, the longer you wear them, the blacker they get!"
That was fun, was it not?
Now, you must remember, when I use certain words, they actually mean something quite different. In this instance, "fun" means random, boring, kinda out-there, and overall idiotic. Do you now understand? If I were to use a phrase such as "Wave the sails", I might actually mean "Save the Whales" Get it now? If I were to say "Snail Tracks" I would actually be referring to "Trail Snacks"!

Those are called Spoonerisms. Very entertaining, aren't they. Well, the Time has come the Kristen Said, to write a goodbye to things. Of wishes and dishes and mobile fishes, etc. etc. etc.
Oh, everyone should visit my quiz! It's located over there <------- in the direction of the arrow.

I must admit, the West Wing season premier was QUITE entertaining. They didn't find Zoey Bartlett, though, and tha Republican who's being president, UGGH! Que Horrible. (That means How Horrible in Spanish)
Oh, thanks to Margot for commenting on my blog. It made my heart fill with joy. Everyone else should comment too. That would make my heart fill will joy exponentally. Tath's speelled rong, ain't it? That's okay. Spelling does not make the world go around, and grammer, verb tenses, puncutation, winking, mosquitos, frogs, and lollipops share that property with spelling. THIS JUST IN! Actually, frog's do make the world go round, They have a secret organization that is closely linked with the Sons of Liberty. I never would have guessed....
Okay, I think it's time to stop scaring the world. Poor President Bush is probably realizing that this fact is why he hasn't seen too many frogs recently. Then again, it could have been that order he made to blow up all frog communities. Who knows?
That's all for now, folks!

"They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot"
counting crows. Good band.
"They took all the trees, and put em in a tree museum
And they charged the people a dollar and a half to see them
Now now now, don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got till it's gone
They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot

Quite true, if you think about it. Ummmm. Bummer, dude.
The Mayan predicted the astrolomical patterns for thousands of years. They're calculations are only off by 33 seconds today. That's impressive, if you ask me. They also predicted the end of the world on Dec. 23, 2012. Forgot the world coming to an end because of a comet! We should be worried about this. Well, not me, actually, but those people who jump off building because it's the end of the world should be. I say, how can the world just DISSAPEAR? Unless, of course, it's a dream-world, and you are just playing a part in someone's dream, and then that someone wakes up, and BOOOM!, everyone is gone like a dandilion down a river- never to be seen again. *sigh* This is what I get for not being given enough math homework. There weird thoughts and too much time to read Star Trek: TNG fanfiction, and too much time to worry about the season premier (it's tomorrow!) of West WIng. OOOOH! I can't wait.

All I want is a room somewhere,
Far away from the cold night air
Warm hands, warm feet, warm me
Oh, Wouldn't it be loverly?

That's my song of the day. Bum bum bu bum bum bum. Now I won't be able to get it out of my head! Gasp! Oh well, it's a good song to have stuck in my head. If any one can tell me where this song is from (leave a comment, you get points for guessing) you'll win a prize! Hooray! 2nd period starts in 10 minutes. We're running around Veile Lake in PE. ARRGGG. That should be "fun". Oh well, It's only for 51 minutes, less, because he has to give us time to change and such.

Good afternoon. I got a dollar bill the other day with the words "Track me! Find out where I've been and where I'm going" written on it. There was also a website. It turns out this website has people enter the serial number for the dollar bills, and then you can track the bill as different people enter it. GO HERE

Oh the hills are alive, with the sound of music. A song they have sung for a thousand years... etc. etc. etc. SO! The date is Friday the 19th of September. I don't have any school. Teacher inservice, you know. I wonder how much work they get done on teacher inservice days. I don't remember any teacher handing back a huge assignment the day after an inservice. I guess they just go to meetings. Or, they could still be like kids, have a large amount of time but still only get done a regular amount of work. That would make sense, I guess, but I always thought that grown-ups were more motivated than kids. Okay, motivated's the wrong word. They're more, umm, LESS proctrastinators. But, then again, I am kinda an adult, kinda, not really though. I don't think that I act like an adult, but I'm closer to being one than ever. Curious and curiouser.
I was watching West Wing this morning. They play reruns on Bravo every night at 9:00, so I tape them (along with 2 episodes of Star Trek: TNG) Anyway, this one (What kind of day has it been) was the season finale for season 1 or 2, I don't know, was really good, but (as most season finales are) it was a leave-hanging type. So, now I am searching the internet to find when the next episode (In the Shadow of Two Gunmen) will air. Luckily, I only have to wait until Monday. *sigh*However, talking about these West Wing matters made me think of a fun website Read it carefully. It was on a forward a few months ago. But it's still funny. Funny Funny Funny

My grandparents just came in. It's very good their here, I guess. I like seeing them. Just sometimes my dad rolls his eyes at Grandma, who rolls her eyes back, then Dad sighs loudly, and then Grandma gets all defensive. It makes me kinda sad. Oh Well. They were just in Santa Fe. Our house was kinda a last-stop on their road trip. Grandpa told this story about how an Native American boy gave him a rock. Grandpa asked the kid's father if the softball-sized-rock was worth anything, and the guy said "It'd be great to throw at a windshield." HAHAHAHAHAHAH I thought that was funny.
Margo and I went to our elementary school this afternoon. It was very fun. We saw our 1st grade teacher, who I think is still on of the best teacher's I've ever had. We were wondering how many other kids visit their elementary school when they're in high school. A very low percentage, if you ask me. I was kinda scared walking through the empty hallways of my elementary school. Everything looked so much smaller, and I was afraid I'd hurt something if I touched it. But it was nerve-wracking in a good way. Our 1st grade teacher seems very good. I wish I would see her more often. All my previous teachers always tell me to to visit whenever I would like, but I think I'd visit way more than they would want me to, if I had the time. AHH well.
I'm going to go watch Nicolas Nicklebey. I think that's spelled wrong.

I have a lab to write, history test to study for, Spanish busy-work to finish, LA grammer work, science reading, math test tomorrow, socratic seminar to prepare for, the list goes on and on. Why am I here, then, writing pointless entries to a computer? It would be much more convincing if someone actually read it. (Yes, Margot, I know you read it just yesterday. Your comment filled my heart with joy) Anway, please comment or something so at least I know more than Margot and I visit this site.
Did you know that The Sims is coming out with a new game that lets sims age. That's really cool, if you ask me. I like the sims. Kinda. I have to read a book for science, but I don't know which one to pick. It would have been helpful if Ms. Cady had told us what some of them were about, but that's okay. Anyway. Off to homework I should go. I can't wait for The Return of the King to come out into theaters. I'm really excited. I also can't wait until the 3rd Harry POtter movie comes out. The 3rd book is my favorite, I think. Either that or the 5th one. I cannot decide. Wish me luck on my science conclusion....

My inner child is ten years old today

My inner child is ten years old!

The adult world is pretty irrelevant to me. Whether
I'm off on my bicycle (or pony) exploring, lost
in a good book, or giggling with my best
friend, I live in a world apart, one full of
adventure and wonder and other stuff adults
don't understand.

So, I was reading "Through the Looking Glass" lastnight after I watched "Bringing Down the House" which isn't a very good movie. In fact, it's pretty much a terrrible movie. I wouldn't recommend it. Anyway in "Through the Looking Glass" Alice is talking to Humptey Dumptey, because she was in an antique shop and wanted to buy an egg, but the store clerk (who was the transformed white Queen) wouldn't give it to Alice, and instead put it on a shelf and Alice had to get it herself. Anyway, somehow the egg grew into Humpety Dumptey. And that was that. Humptey says that "Brillig" (from the JABBERWOCKY) means the time when you cook tea (around 3 in the afternoon) and "Slithy" means slithery and scaley and "toves" means badger like creatures who have corkscrew tails and are really like armadillos, they have scaley skin. "Gyre" obviously means to go around it circles, like a gyroscope, and Humptey says the "gimble" means, oh shoot! I forget. Anyway, then Alice chips in saying that "wabe" means the place before, after, and around a sundial. Because ( I forgot to tell you) Toves live under sundials and live off cheese.

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:

And the mome raths outgrabe.

I'm reading "Through the Loooking Glass". Did you know the Disney version of ALice in Wonderland is a combo of "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass"? Tricky Tricky. Tricksey and False! HAHAHA That's what Gollum says. I like Gollum, but he creeps me out because his is so tricksey and false. HAHAHAHAHHA. It's already Saturday night, and I still have homework to do and such other annoying deals. I went on a fun bike-ride to day. It was fun, believe it or not. Yeah, that's about it.

Nothing much has happened recently to me. Meadows closes today, so I was there for about an hour. Today there is a Star Trek Next Generation marathon for 12 hours. I'm taping all of it, if you want to watch it. Yep, I think that about does it. Taa taa for now.
