I cannot decide what color my font should be today. Should it be
like apples and grapes and cold-noses? or like sunrises and fallen leaves ?(they say yellow makes you angry) Or like kiwi-middles and evergreens?Or perhaps it should be like neverending oceans and cholinated pool water. Or perhaps just purple, like eggplant (yuck!) and thunder clouds. Or orange, like pumpkins and, better yet, pumpkin pie. I have no idea what Ceries is, or even if it's spelled right. Chartreuse is a lovely color, though, don't you think? Aqua is more liked chlorinated pool water than regular blue, I guess. Mauve is purple, right? GOODNESS! Everyone is so talented at my school. I wish I was as good as them. There was a concert tonight for all the fine-arts, artists, choirs (all 6 of them, I think there are 6), 4 Jazz Bands, a marching band, and a orchestra. WOW, it was quite entertaining despite the 100 degree temperature. NO, I really really enjoyed it, but I am extremly impressed about how many students participate in choirs and stuff. List belowThere's Angie, and Jenny and Lisi and Greg, Brian, Ellie, Emily, DC, Brian (different one), Margo, and Katherine, Kelsey, Virginia, Darcy, Ella, Grace, and Camille, Emily(different one) Alex, and James, Lindsey, Torrey, Amanda, Sarah, Sam, Kim, and Steffi and Trevor, Orly and Gordan, and AJ, and Lauren, Lisa, Mickey, and Miriam, Tommy, Spencer, Urpi, and Lisa and David and David (there's two), Kate, and Kristen (not I) and Tracy, and Amberle, Justin, and Stephan, and Kent and there's a lot more, I just don't feel like naming them.

Yeah, that's a lot of people. I'm very impressed. That's also why I don't have a song tonight, because all these tunes that I don't know the words too keep playing in my head. The real question of the day is

Actually, it was Daniel Boone who etched "Kilt me a bar" on a tree. They said it was Davy Crockett, though. My sister has a stuffed bear named Crockett. Cute, huh? Wonder why this song is stuck in my head? Because in history we were watching a movie on the Alamo, and they said Davy Crockett was there- at the Alamo, I mean. For a while during swim practice Edelweiss was stuck in my head, but than Davy Crockett came back. Let's sum up my life currently, shall we? AH, nevermind, I'd rather type about happy things rather than messed up things. Not that MY life is messed up, just everyone else's is, and I don't know what to do to help. Sigh. Yes, well, I would write about how much I want it to snow, but I've really had enough metaphors for several days. =) HAHAHA. Oh well. It's 8:10 in the morning, the sun is up, the sky is blue, and I get to go to the Health Fair next period. YEAH! At least it's not health class. I wish I could whistle. Then I would whistle and whistle and whistle. Whistle is one odd word, if you ask me. You pronounce it whissle but then you had a 'T'. Huh. I would whistle "Oklahoma" on a day like today. I also wish I could do a cartwheel. I would whistle while cartwheeling. That would be interesting....

AHH, I really really want it to snow. Huge drifts of crystalized magic. White vanilla ice cream, not French Vanilla, because, although it might taste better, it's slightly off-white. Cold and crisp, the very top layer is crunchy, but underneath the frozen seal, snowflake upon snowflake lay, not mashed together, but carefully placed to not smash any of them. The sun melts the magic ever so slightly, and no longer are they perfect, untouchable artifacts from an unknown world, but snowballs, igloos, ski-jumps, "white-washers" and slide slickers. Those of you who don't know what the latter two are, are very much missing out. Days of laughter in the air, a different magic, the same deck of cards, but a different trick. Not mysterious, eye-catching classical art,now a whimsical Worhal. Something so normal, so everyday (Cambell's tomato soup) repeated again and again. The right angle, the right thought and you're spun into a world of light-hearted Picasso's and colorful black&white photographs. Curious.

I was humming that tune yesterday, or Wednesday actually, during swim practice and suddenly everyone in my lane and the lane next to me were singing it too. I didn't really know the words except for the chorus, and I didn't know that very well, either, but now I do.So, I was singing it again today. I planned to drill a tunnel through the swimming pool wall so I could escape to go watch the cross country race. Put I couldn't find a power drill for the life of me. It was most upsetting. So I ended up swimming and singing, like always. I'm not a very good singer, but I like to do it. If you didn't notice, I start all my entries with a song. I really like musicals. Sarah is going to see Chicago at the dinner theater this weekend. I wish I was going- but I've already seen it. I've also already seen all the Star Trek episodes that are playing today. Bummer, and they aren't very good either, so I won't watch them again. Alas, woe is me. Just kiding, I'm actually quite happy. =)

After swimming we were singing in the locker room. It was quite entertaining. We went from "Hakuna-Matata" to "A Whole New World" to (you guessed it) "I Just Can't Wait To Be King!" It was very fun. NOt very many people at practice today- nope nope- only about 15.

Do you like my hot pink text? It's probably hard to read. Oh, sorry I didn't update for a while. I wasn't up for it. I watched a lot of Star Trek, though. It was very fun- "The Best of Both Worlds" is a very good episode- I recommend it. Borg are very scary. They actually have a good idea- to improve the lives of all species- but their method is kinda lacking, majorly. After all annilating humankind isn't the BEST way to go about things- if you ask me. Well- football game time. Not that I like football, or football games, really, but I go anyway. Curious.

That was the most beautiful song I've heard in a long time... maybe. It's WAY ahead of "Stacy's Mom", though, which was played by the band at our pep-assembly. It really really really bothers me that those cheerleaders and poms ALWAYS face the other way. It's not like I have personally offended them! I wouldn't, actually, pay much attention to there act (not that I do anyway), but the fact that they are always bending down while facing the wrong direction! ARRGGG I don't need proof of how flexible they are. Revolt! Revolt! Revolt!
Cheerleader is an anagram of "Reached Leer" HA! Isn't that a coinsidence.... or perhaps the inventor of the word already knew that....

That song was playing in my head all throughout my bike ride this morning. 30 miles is a long time to be singing a song from "Beauty and the Beast", if I do say so myself.
It's a beautiful day, today is. It really is a pity the gods have placed my destiny in the hands of Fairview High School. If I was in charge, I would frolic in an open meadow singing "The hills are alive..." except that I have the Mob Song from Beauty and the Beast stuck in my head, so eventually "the Sound of Music" would turn into "Kill the Beast! Kill the Beast!" etc. etc. etc. Too bad, really. I don't mind school, actually, it just bothers me that I have to do work at my house on a day like today. In fact, I think I'll go frolic now. That's Fire on the Mountain by the Grateful Dead. The Grateful Dead is my dad's favorite band, so we listen to them a lot. I like them, too. I went to one of their concerts last summer. Not last summer like 2 summers ago, but the summer that ended in August. Does that make sense? If you say "Last Week" on a sunday, are you talking about the week that you just finished, or the week that finished a while ago? I'm confused.... OH WELL! That happens to me a lot. And it's all okay.
I just got my ski pass for this winter. HOORAY skiing is good. I love skiing I love skiing I love skiing I love skiing. That was to the tune of " I love the Mountains". Kinda. Not really. I try, you know I do, I just happen to fail miserably most of the time. Alas, Woe is me. I want to name somebody "Woe" because then they can say "Woe is Me" all the time. And someone else should be named "Everybody" because then advertising companies could ask that person what they think, and if they liked the product they could legally say "Everybody Likes/loves/uses/recommends it!" That is a genius idea.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've had a hectic week at school. Not as crazy as some people's week though. I only had one test today, for example. Somehow I got off easy. Two of my tests I was supposed to have today were moved to next week. MOst of my friends had multiple tests. bummer, dude. One of my friends had 10 or 15 essays due today. She was freaking out. I hope that she takes it easy this weekend, 'cause if she doesn't, SOMEONE'S going to have an early death. Like it says above "Forget about your worries and your strife." I think Disney has some good messages- despite the fact that most teenagers think Walt Disney was a sick man, and most adults think that he ruined all of our fairy tales, I still think his movies are quite entertaining. YEP!
